Service Description: A steep slope is defined by Mukilteo Code as a slope that has 40% or steeper gradients and has a vertical relief of greater than 10ft, excluding constructed slopes. Using LiDAR data from the Washington Geologic Survey (2016), this layer displays all areas of the city with a slope greater than 40% in which the highest point is greater than 10 feet above the lowest point. This method may exclude some slopes which meet the City definition and may also include false positives. For example, no effort was made to remove constructed slopes from this data.
